Welcome to the Looe Royal British Legion website. Looe is a small coastal town and fishing port in South East Cornwall. It is a popular holiday resort with it's picturesque harbour and beach. The town has a thriving branch of the the Royal British Legion (RBL) with over a hundred members and friendly and informal meetings are held on a monthly basis. Everybody is welcome to attend our meetings and see how we function and what we do.


MEETINGS      Meetings are held on the first Monday of each month come rain, shine or New Year's Day. The meetings are held in the ground floor bar of Looe Social Club, The Quay, West Looe, PL13 2BU. Meetings start promptly at 7.30 pm but come early and get a pint first.

FUND RAISING  The Looe Branch of the RBL holds fund raising events to raise funds for the Poppy Appeal and the Cornwall RBL Welfare Fund. The Welfare Fund is used within the county to help servicemen, ex-servicemen and their families who may be in difficulties, and supplements grants received from the Poppy Appeal.

Last year’s Looe Poppy Appeal, which closed at the end of September, 2019 , raised £16,582.71 which was another record for the town and £4,391.92 up on last year.
